I take it that that letter is not related to the plea for support for
IMB's development of Screen reading software for its operating systems.
It's just an observation on what the current trends are.
By the way, Tom's notes re-affirm the need for the r & d committee to
develop a stand-alone X Terminal, since if they drop any portion of the
research at IBM, it will probably be the one that's tackling the problem
of getting Screen Reader running on their RS-6000 machines because they
don't have a product out here yet.
So, now that my life is in the stages of settling down, I'll get parts
lists and we'll get underway.
