Greetings John:

The I triple E conference where I spoke was called Plans 1994. The
name is an acronym for Position Location And Navigation Symposium.
I am told that this kind of conference is scheduled every two
years, the next will be in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1996. There were
some 430 papers presented on some aspect of navigation and position
determination. The only sessions that I attended dealt with Land
Navigation. NFB was invited to participate in PLANS 1994 because
of our work with the GPS receiver modification. Of course, I
talked some about that during the luncheon appearance, I also left
schematic and software documentation in case anyone wanted more
info on that subject.

I was given a copy of the proceedings before I left the
symposium. After looking these papers over, I concluded that they
could be more helpful to Arkenstone than to me, so I shipped them
off to Jim Fructerman.

For further information on PLANS 1996, you can inquire of
George Lowenstein, co-chairman of the 1994 meeting,
