MEMORANDUM
To: Members And Friends
          NFB R&D Committee

From: T. V. Cranmer, Chairman
Subject: Congratulation to Mr. Brian Buhrow
Date: July 12, 1994

Compliments are most trustworthy when they are received through a
third party. Two of my friends took time to offer their opinion
that you, Brian, did an excellent job of presiding over the R&D
Committee meeting on the evening of July 6th, 1994. I thought you
would like to know that, and I am pleased to pass it on to you.

A third compliment on your performance was solicited.
A couple of days after returning from our Convention, I received a
call from a friend who wanted to talk about some of the interesting
things that went on there. An hour into the conversation, he got
around to mentioning the R&D meeting. It was then that I asked how
he thought you did conducting the remainder of the meeting after my
opening remarks. Can you believe that he said that he did not
notice that I had passed the gavel to you?

Well, Brian, you'll never get a better compliment than that--at
least not from me.
