calculators and kings
Dear Dr. tim,
Sure, I'd like a copy of the shareware calc.
We bought a full arkenclone and Open Book from Noel Runyan.
With the package came a picture-to-tactile piece of software he
writes called "PICTac" that runs withg the HP scanner and the
Everest printer. You can freely chose the area on the scanner
platten that you want repprinted, and you can chose a wide range
of magnification. What this might imply in relation to a
calculator, I don' know, but he deserves a phone call (408-866-
1126).
What's neat about it is that a fellow lab partner can, with
carbon paper under his ggraph paper, make you an uncluttered copy
(on plain paper, not graph paper). Whereas it would take your
lab partner a few moments to make special drawings with a Sewell
drawing kit, he gets you something in 0 time which will
eventually turn into gorgeous hard copies for your notebook. An
engineer graduating from SF State is trying such experiments in
our lab.
Hope you're doing well.
Cordially, Bill Gerrey
