Thanks, Robert, for the info on the Portable Software Workshop
sponsored by NIST. This should be an interesting meeting and I
hope that we can receive ASCII text proceedings.
Unfortunately, it is not practical for us to attend all of the
meetings each year that might include information of use to this
committee. The biggest obstacle is time. Our members can not take
time from their paid work to go to some of the meetings of
interest.
This is a good time to remind the R&D Committee members to talk
with me or Mr. Buhrow if you are interested in representing NFB at
a technical meeting.
