Hi Curtis,
 
I think we are talking about two different issues here,
1. access to a WWW server, and 2. access
to public information kiosks. Ultimately, we
are going to need access to the kiosks, but the other part is important and
necessary. It is easier, but a way to raise awareness
and make the second step possible.
It is only elitism if that is the only kind of
access we would be given, that is from our own computers.
It is to early to know that yet.
We must push, but they did get some cooperation, which is also good.
