Dr. Nemeth asks whether our calculator should contemplate outputting
graphs in print (with subsequent down-scaling capability for
Braille embossers) as Steve proposes or whether the calculator
should do the scaling for Braille up-front. I favor the former, that is,
the ability of the calculator to produce printed (or on-screen)
graphs with the ability to translate to Braille.
As Dr. Nemeth states, I find graphs produced by an embosser
somewhat unsatisfactory. I like his idea of a mechanically-driven
tracing tool. Let's build it!
