Hello:

     I suggest you look at the optacon interface for the Macintosh that was developed by Berkely Systems. It, I understand is supposed to show what is on the screen by displaying the symbols on the Optacon display. If memory serves me
correctly, most of the braille display parts are made by Tieman in the Netherlands.
One time, I wrote to Tieman and asked for information. I was refered to Humanware
in Loomis CA (800) 722-3393. You might also want to look at the Keynote
Gold with Mastertouch also from Humanware. It is a different approach to
screen access. Just for the record, don't forget the IBTC at our national
headquarters.
