Re the "Modem Tax":

I am afraid that, unless things have changed markedly, this is
just another reverberation of an urban myth along the lines of
GCraig Sheargold. Note that no docket number or NPRM was cited.
Until a bulletin is written with a NPRM cited, I would opine
that we may safely disregard any "modem tax" messages.

Anyone seen an alligator emerging from a New York City sewer
lately?
