Hello:
Curtis has brought up some great ideas. This discussion and the resultinjg
priorities will give all concerned a good place to begin. I suggest we try to
do the following:
1. Find all the research centers and researchers in the field.
2. Maintain a catalog of projects; including past work, current projects
and future plans. Parts of this catalog may need to be maintained on
a nondisclosure basis. In this way, we can avoid duplicating effort and
possibly guide researchers toward productive areas.
3. Hold a nationwide or worldwide contest for inventors. We ought to study the contest Johns Hopkins and the ACM held in the early eighties.
