Well, I received a slightly larger number of electronic messages than
Curtis, however, most of what he said applies in my case as well. I would
be happy to serve on such an advisory committee if one is established and
if it is felt appropriate for me to do so. My time is somewhat limited and
as Curtis Chong is the head of the CS NFB division, I would be happy to
defer to his presence if that is felt to be more appropriate. In other
words Curtis, I'll be glad to protect you from behind. :)
Seriously, however, I believe that we should try to cover as many of the
groups that are working on accessibility issues and, as none of us can take
all of them on at the same time and hold down jobs, we must work together
and coordinate our efforts. In light of this, I might suggest that I work
with the people here at Stanford (The Archemedes Project) and Curtis work
with the people at MicroSoft and that we remain in close contact with one
another.
