OK. The subject says it all, except that this is an alpha announcement.
The truth is that I learned all I know about html in the last half hour and
I'd like to go to bed soon. But, I'd like people to play with the on-line
archives of the NFB research and development mailing list. They can be
accessed via: http://www.nfbcal.org
Because the top home page is visually mangled, I'll tell you that you want
to arrow down to the third link, (press the down arrow twice) and press
return or, if you're using mosaic or netscape, do what ever causes
traversal of the link. You should now be on a page that looks like:

Fool around with the links on this page and tell me if you think this
interface to the nfb-rd archives is worth developing further.
Right now, this set of cross-referenced pages contains the entire
archive from mid 1993 to the 6th of June or so. Further improvements
include:
O automatic updating.
O Insertion of a title to this page so you'll know what it is.
O investigations into the feasibility of searching for a specific topic in
this mass of messages.

Please send tips, comments, and criticisms to this list. I think this
might be a good thing to announce at the r& d meeting? Thoughts?
-Brian
