Hello:

Recently, I was in conversation with Arkenstone Technical support. I
was inquiring about the latest update to the Open Book software. I was told
that a release will soon be available that will work on Windows 95. I think this
is good news in that device drivers will have been written for synthesizers.
I also understand that a new release on Open Book software will be out in January.
This new release will have many improvements.

I was reading acout OCR using the Computer Select CD-ROM. Caere/Calera have
just introduced version 4.0 of WordScan. It got the usual good reviews for OCR
software. Since I have a Braillex 2D with Windots, I may see about buying the upgrade
and trying it.
