Oopse, I don't have Dr. Wohlers' e-mil address, so here goes:

Hi Dr. David:

There are two articles of interest to you in our Smith-Kettlewell
Technical File, available from The Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research
Institute. The first is: "Accessing the Fluke PM2525/623
Multimeter" by T.V. (Tim) Cranmer, Chairman of the Research and
Development Committee, National Federation of the Blind, SKTF,
Vol. 10, No. 4, Fall 1989. This specifically discusses the
Braille-'n'-Speak for controlling and readout.

The second is: "A Review of the Micronta 22-182 Digital
Multimeter with Computer Interface" by Jay Williams, SKTF, Vol.
13, No. 4, 1992-1993. The disk version of this issue comes with
an access- friendly display PC program written (in Basic) by
Susan Fowle.

I will send these two issues (5-1/4-inch IBM disk, or
talking-book cassette) free to readers of your fine reference.
They must specify format, tape or diskette, and address Bill
Gerrey, Editor, SKI, 2232 Webster St., San Francisco, CA 94115.

Good luck on the project.

Bill Gerrey
