While I'm not sure I agree with Raman's assertion that Lynx is broken,
it is certainly in need of work. I have always been able to fill out
forms, enter passwords, etc. but there is always a need to upgrade the
software to make it work with the latest pages. Perhaps a fellow Lynx user
can help Arnold out with his current problem. I'll look up the sight he
refers to here and see if I can fill out the form.

I dont use lynx because it's broken --way broken-- and you cant do forms etc
with it.
I use the Emacs W3 browser which works beautifully.

Hi
We got in touch a few weeks ago concerning Lex reader.
I now have a questoin about Lynx and Web access. As you mentioned
Lynx in one of your mesasges to nfb-list, you may help.
How can you fill in forms in Lynx. I wanted to use
the Web index provided in http://altavista.digital.com
you have to fill in a line of text marked with "subject".
But I have no idea how to move the cursor there or what
command to use. I am using Lynx on a UNIX system in VT100
mode.
Will you attend CSUN 96 in 2 weeks? I'll be there and would be pleased
to meet you and have a discussion on X Window access.
Regards
Arnold Schneider
