Subject: A Brief Update
Hey, Curtis!
Can you believe it? I am actually technologically moving into
1996 at long last! It was great hearing from you!
I have a brief update for you. Two years ago, you gave me
information about the student organization of the American Council of
the Blind having a list. As I understand it, E-Mail from one
individuals is sent to everyone else on the list, and people are free
to reply to each of those messages. Well, we have a list too. If
students write to listserv@netcom.com, refrain from writing anything
on the subject line, and subscribe to the list by putting in the
body of the message "Subscribe nabs-l", they will be placed on the
list. We think that our list will grow to be the largest of its kind
through which blind students from all across the country can
communicate with one another.
Also, as another brief update, we have a web page ready to go,
and Nicholas Smittroth is working on the finishing touches before it
goes online.
Well, Curtis, that is all I have for now. Please give my best to
Peggy. We will see you here in Anaheim!
Always wishing you the best,
Ollie Cantos
