The letter addresses only notes and in my opinion it was ill-advised
on several counts. The letter presumes that universal access is possible
for a computer application on the GUI. The letter requests verification
yet the writers have not verified what the problems are. The letter
presumes that Active Accessibility will help, and there is absolutely
no evidence for that. (I think MSAA is a good direction; but today it
is only a direction.)

This kind of pressure is terribly important for accessibility.
It is therefore terribly important to make the case carefully.

By the way, I find no significant difference between Notes 4.1 and 4.5
which I just installed and sniff-tested.
