Greetings and felicitations:

While attending the CSUN conference in Los Angeles, I came across
a pager which converts text to speech. This means that the blind
now have the ability to receive and read alpha paged messages.

I was told that the voice pager would cost around $270. For those

This is really text to speech conversion: no pre-recorded digitized
words. Admittedly, the speech was not very impressive, but it was
