Please post this announcement where it will do the most good :-)
Barb The Browser version 1.3 now recognizes HTML files and suppresses the
codes and directives enclosed in angle brackets. When you are browsing the
world wide web and "save" a web page, the resulting file is a text file plus
the commands for formatting and for linking to other files. The saved file
can now be read conveniently by Barb The Browser with the new /F8 switch. If
the first six characters in the file are <HTML>, the switch will not be
needed. Barb is freeware and comes with source code. You may FTP to
"ftp.crl.com" and look in "/ftp/users/ka/kansys" for "barb13.zip".
Also new in the Barb package: the utility "html.exe" which extracts an HTML
document from within a longer text file, thus ensuring that <HTML> are the
first six characters, and that </HTML> are the last seven.
Enjoy -- Chuck.
