For the first time, the National Federation of the Blind
will offer its annual convention banquet, live on the Internet
via a Real Audio data stream. You will need real audio software,
or a browser with Real Audio built in, such as Microsoft Internet
Explorer or PW Webspeak to hear it.

The banquet will be held in New Orleans on Friday Evening,
July 4, 1997. It starts at 7:00 p.m. and the banquet address,
which this year will be from Dr. Kenneth Jernigan, President
Emeritus of the NFB, should start at between 8:30 and 9:00 p.m.
central daylight time.

The URL to hear the address is:

http://audio.grit.net/grit.ram

If you do not have the Real Audio software, you can download it
from the following URL:

http://www.grit.net/nfb.html

The software is shareware and the software you download is easy
to install and use, and immediately available.
See you on the Internet.
