We seem to be taking a beating on Magoo. I was justing reading an article in
Computerworld on the PR aspects of the Internet and decided to see if there
had been much on the old man. I was surprised at the number of newsgroups
that deal with Disney (starting with alt.disney). I serached www.dejanews.com
for magoo and found what activity there has been in newsgroups has bought
into the the twin claims that Magoo is not blind (only nearsighted, although
he seems to see less that I do) and that it is just a cartoon.
The newsgroups may well be an area in which we can get at Disney better than
the traditional media. Since this bunch is certainly a generally
Internet-savy group, we should give that a try by posting to these groups to
get our view out.
