Hello:
I can understand that companies think they need secure ID systems. I
also consider this development to be a very! serious threat to the blind
and other disabled persons. I see two courses of action:
1. Work with this new consortium to educate it to the problems we have
dealing with some of the new technologies.
2. Try to get legislation passed mandating that alternative techniques
for identification must be provided.
Perhaps we also need a resolution.
