We are pleased to be able to announce that the mailing list of the National
Association of Blind Students, NABS-L, has moved to NFB NET which hosts
nearly a dozen other mailing lists for the National Federation of the Blind.
NABS-L was formerly on Netcom. Below is the information sent to new
subscribers. It will describe the purpose of the list, as well as how to
subscribe, unsubscribe, post messages and get help.
This mailing list is sponsored by the National Association
of Blind Students, (NABS), A Divission of the National
Federation of the Blind.
The National Federation of the Blind National Association of
Blind Students Division is an organization of students who are
blind. We have created our own mailing list , NAbs-L, to
provide a forum for the discussion of issues that are relevant
to blind students in every major and grade .On nabs-l we can ask
questions, suggest solutions, and share experiences. There will
also be occasional posts concerning issues of major importance to
the blind as well as announcements concerning activities of the
national Association of Blind Students and The National
Federation of the Blind.
To post a message to the NABS-L mailing list, please send it
to "nabs-l@nfbnet.org" with out the quotes. Use of this address
will automatically post your message to all subscribers to the
National Association of Blind Students mailing list via the
Internet. At the same time, your message will be posted to the
NABS-L discussion area carried on NFB NET.
To unsubscribe from this list, please send your message to
the address: "listserv@nfbnet.org." Leave the subject blank and
put "unsubscribe nabs-l" in the body of the message. NAbs-L is also
available in a digest version, one message per day. To subscribe to the
digest version, send your message to the listserv address,
"listserv@nfbnet.org." Put "subscribe nabs-d" in the body of the message.
To unsubscribe from this version, put "unsubscribe nabs-d" in the message
body. To post messages to the digest version, you can either use the
regular address "nabs-l@nfbnet.org" or "nabs-d@nfbnet.org."
