Hello,

I posted this on another list recently. We need a truly accessible
minidisc machine, one that allows us to take full control of all the
functions of the latest long play versions. APH may be interested in
developing this, but so far according to a friend who works there they are
a long way from marketing one. Then there's the problem of many APH
products' high cost.

These topics have come up in one form or another at our meetings for several years now. I have volunteered to spearhead an effort to collect and synthesize this information.

Obviously it should be something possible in the relatively near future, a Star Trek-like transporter is probably a little ambitious. However, let your imagination work and tell us what you would like to see.
