Howdy y'all!

I am usually happy just to listen in on these auspicious and oftentimes
erudite conversations, but the idea of a re-engineered Optacon is a
fantabulous contemplation! Yes, the KNFB Reader makes life easier for
the masses. An Optacon that could plug into and become a literal "touch
screen" for blind folks would elucidate much of the mysteries of
graphical user interfaces, especially if the icons had labels. This
potential application would make the millions in development worth it.
For me as one interested in understanding an NMR spectrum or other such
graphic output on screen, there is immense satisfaction in what an
Optacon can offer.Yes, there are cheaper workarounds. Well, somewhat
cheaper. Being able to look at superscripts and/or subscripts on your
own is quite liberating too. The Optacon was great for Greek letters
that my scanning software does not identify. But hey, if the Videotim
can do all of those thigns, where do I get one?
