A New NFBC Brochure
The printed word is one of the most effective tools for disseminating information about blindness to the sighted public. We maintain a diverse variety of literature in the state office. Most chapter members utilize these materials for community outreach projects.
For the past few years the NFBC has taken a leading role in legislation which would make a positive impact on the education of blind children. We have also geared our efforts toward the parents of blind children. As a result of these efforts a new NFBC trifold has been created.
This brochure, entitled "Braille Literacy," is now available through this office. It presents a brief history of Braille and explains the importance of Braille instruction to blind and visually impaired children.
