THE ABLE INFORMER FINDS A HOME
------------------------------
ON THE WORLD WIDE WEB
----------------------
Start Monday, September 11, 1995, The Able Informer, the international
resource newsletter for people with disabilities, will rock the World Wide Web
with its own site! Like the newsletter itself, its site will feature resource
articles on employment, technology, entertainment, sports, travel, and services
for people with disabilities. Also like the newsletter, The Able Informer's web
site will also have its lively, thought-provoking "On The Podium" section where
folks speak out about disability issues.
Besides obtaining vital resource information and reading interesting
commentary, you can also advertise your product or service on The Able
Informer's web site. For only $10 a month (one of the cheapes, proper ways to
advertise on the Internet), thousands of people can read about what you have to
offer. The only restrictions are that the product or service has to be
disability-oriented and the copy has to be 250 words or less.
Once you have enjoyed visiting The Able Informer's web site, you can
subscribe to the newsletter right on-line. Just hit "Subscribe to The Able
Informer," fill out the subscription form, and then hit "Send." That's it!
Your first issue will be e-mailed to you upon receipt of payment.
To access The Able Informer's web site, type
http://www.sasquatch.com/ableinfo . Or for further information or to
contribute articles, email Rosemary Musachio at 71033.1073@compuserve.com
Rosemary Musachio started The Able Informer for two reasons: to offer
people with all types of disabilities a convenient way to find resources and
speak their minds, and to offer establishments of all kinds an inexpensive way
to publicize their products and services to the disabled community.
