CONTROLLING THE FOR

John,
 Line numbers in assembler source????
Never heard of any such thing.
Line numbers a generally generated by the assembler.

To make things worse, the more modern cross-assemblers being
written for use on the PC are "free form" so that structured code
indentations may be used, for "clarity".

I DO however aggree that whatever is done for blind people writing assembly
language code, the answer lies in having control of the translator.
 As for speech,
have you ever heard a computer try to pronounce something like CJNE ?
  or differentiate NOP vs NOOP.

I'm still struggling with a magnifying glass and a monitor.

It's always good to hear from you,
  Paul
