Raman is a doctoral student at Cornell. He was a scholarship
winner a couple of years ago. His dissertation deals with the
design of an audio format language that makes math text
intelligible when read with a speech synthesizer. His current
algorithm uses embedded alltex mark-up to reformat for audio
presentation.
