Since the 1994 Convention begins a day early, so too will our
Committee convene. That is, we will meet on Tuesday evening.
Mr. Brian Buhrow has agreed to co-chair this year's meeting.
I have two matters to discuss with members and monitors to get
things started. Both have been mentioned in previous memos to this
group:
One: Electronic travel and orientation aids
that may materialize in the future. What should we expect from
these devices? What can we contribute to their design?
Two: Workshops, seminars and other suggestions for delivering
information instruction and other assistance to bring our
members up to speed on the Information Super Highway.
Mr. Buhrow will take charge of the next presentations and reports
from members responsible for current projects of the Committee. He
will also add items to the agenda; contact him directly or post
suggestions here.
Further details of the meeting will be posted by me or Brian (or
both) as the meeting draws neigh.
