Subject: NFBTRANS in C
Dr Cranmer,

The latest version of NFBTRANS, 7.29, was said to have been uploaded to
NFB-NET last week as NFBTR729.ZIP. I have not yet downloaded it, but
past versions of the zipped files have all contained the C source
language for NFBTRANS. I believe there is already a patch included to
make it run under UNIX.

If you haven't checked out the latest versions for a while, there have
been a number of what I consider to be significant additions to
NFBTRANS. These include commands for conditional page breaks and
automatic table of contents with braille page numbers. Also, some C-like
formatting commands have been added for table formatting. Randy
Formenti, who has been making most of the changes, seems to have done a
nice job.

Regards,
Steve Jacobson
