JOB NAME: COMPUTER SYSTEMS ANALYST I.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Operate and administer computer hardware and software in support of
receiving, storing, order picking, re-packing, and shipping
lamps to
Defense General supply Center (DGSC) customers.
Responsible for maintaining and problem solving on four software
applications:
Inventory Management, Customer Interface, Mobile Data
Collection System, and Shipping Rate System.
Serve as System Administrator on a NOVELL NETWORK
Make major revisions to file structures as needed
Assist others with hardware and software problems
Maintain required records
Process all data to keep inventory and order systems up-to-date
Coordinate the services of the Computer Operator III, in assisting
with
the timely processing of data
Train distribution center personnel in the operation of appropriate
software and hardware applications
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
College degree in computers or business, or equivalent experience
PREFERRED JOB SKILLS:
Experienced with Relational Data Bases
Worked on NOVELL NETWORK with administrative duties
Four or more years experience in computer based work
Inventory control experience
Familiar with CLIPPER
ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS:
Worked on NOVELL NETWORK
Four or more years experience in computer based work
Familiar with CLIPPER or other 4GL programming
LOCATION OF JOB: Greensboro, NC
SALARY: $17.59/Hr.
