JOB DESCRIPTION:
Operate computer hardware and software in support of receiving,
storing, order picking, re-packing, and shipping lamps to Defense
General Supply Center (DGSC) customers.
Audit all freight bills for accuracy and reconcile differences.
Assist computer operator IV in processing data.
Diagnose and act to correct hardware problems.
Access four software applications via a NOVELL NETWORK to process
data and trouble shoot: Inventory Management, Customer Interface,
Mobile Data Collection, and Shipping Rate System.
Assist in handling visitors and incoming calls.
Operate modem, fax, and copier.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
College degree in computers, business or equivalent experience
PREFERRED JOB SKILLS:
Worked on NOVELL NETWORK
Two or more years experience in computer based work
