Mr. Gerrey, I just knew, somehow, that you had done some research on
ticks! I am surprised that you settled on a square wave at 8 kilohertz.
There are some folks that can hear 8 Khz pretty good, but nobody I know
that can hear the second harmonic, let alone all the rich overtones of
such a high frequency. I would think that two cycles of 3 kilohertz
square wave would be a more useful choice. This should be specially true
for guys my age. Can I assume that you made your tests while you were
still young?
