There is an State Agency in California looking into a means of
letting blind folks know that there is an electric car in their
vicinity. I believe they are thinking of using the LLNL low power, pulsed
radar device in some way.
I don't which agency is doing this, but I believe the work
was instigated by Gene Lausagno (spelling?), California's
champion espouser of chirps, whistles, bird calls,
truncated dome tiles, etc.
I believe the folks in Sacramento hope that Gene will just go
away, but who knows?
