Actually I think the Berkeley Systems inTouch program for the Optacon II was
pretty good. The problem was that everyone thought that the Macintosh was
not a good computer for a blind person.

I agree with you that it would have been even better with the R1D, but this
would require designing another box of electronics to interface between the
RS232C port and the Optacon R1D's I/O port, which was not any standard.

Do you think there would be a market for an Optacon PC access?
