Subject: MicroTalk Support List!
MicroTalk Support can now be accessed via an Internet Mailing List! Quick and
reliable, this support avenue allows a MicroTalk Product user to get assistance
from the MT Support staff without having to continually redial that busy
Support phone number! This list will give support on ASAP, ASAW, LiteTalk,
DoubleTalk, and in addition, allows the user to get info from other users,
update notices, news releases, tips, tricks, etc.!
We welcome everyone--MT user or not--but do focus on MT product support as
primary topic!
Come and join! Who knows, you may learn something, or better yet, you may
teach us a thing or two!
To join the MicroTalk Support Mailing List, address an E-mail message to
maiser@scs.tamu.edu and within the body of the message, use the line
subscribe MicroTalk
It's that simple, and it sure beats heck out of dialing up that BBS to ask a
question!!<g>
For you CompuServe users that want to get this resource in your CompuServe
mailbox, address the message to:
MicroTalk >internet maiser@scs.tamu.edu
and use the same subscribe MicroTalk line mentioned above.
A special Thanks goes to Dr. Robert Carter, and the rest of the staff at the
Student Counseling Services, Texas A&M University, for graciously allowing us
to park on their net! They also provide an ftp site for getting the latest
ASAP and ASAW releases! That address is:
ftp.scs.tamu.edu
Use "anonymous" as your log in name, and your e-mail address as the password,
then move to the ASAP directory to find those files.
While you're at it, why not drop Dr. Carter a note Thanking him for that
service!
Thanks,
Dennis Brown
