Robert, there is no money in fixing that meager number of machines.
We must massage the Telephone Pioneers -- not only for government-
issue talking book machines, but for all the other undocumented crap
we would like fixed. If we massage right, maybe we can get products built for us.
(Precedence for the Pioneers building things has been established:
light probes and such have been built, and subsidized in the past.)
Let us, the needful, find meaningful work, while volunteer/subsidized
work be done in the model of "the thousand points of light".
