Hello friends,
I just received the information that Pedro Zurita has regained some
consciousness. He is still unable to talk, because there are tubes
attached to him. But he can react to certain commands like grasping
somebody's hand.
If all goes well, doctors might take him out of intensive care by the end
of this week.
I got this news from the Royal National Institute for the Blind. From
there, I should get an e-mail with some more details tomorrow, which I
will pass on to you.
It feels great to finally be able to share something more optimistic than
my last mails.
