Norbert - as promised, the latest news we have re Pedro.
Sylvie from Pedro's Office rang me this morning (Monday, 27 Jan)
She was relieved to be able to say that Pedro has "regained
consciousness a bit". He is not speaking because of the tubes,
but when someone asked him to grip their hand he was able to do
so, and when he heard someone's voice he turned his head in their
direction.
He is being allowed two visits per day for 20 minutes each visit
with two people only at a time. Paula (from the office) had gone
off to see him, Sylvie would go another time.
The doctors are hoping if he progresses well that Pedro will be
able to be moved from intensive care to an ordinary ward at the
end of the week.
