Greetings,
I recently had a discussion with someone re telecommuting who had decided
it was the ultimate solution for the blind community. Its danger lies int
the fact that it could become an excuse not to get around. One of the
best ways to motivate someone to improve their travel skills is to make
them understand that employment could depend on ones ability to get to the
job.
aside from that, I believe that people need to get out and exchange ideas
with others. One cannot gain true perspective from merely reading e-mail.
Social interaction cannot be duplicated it must be experienced. Even the
most uninteresting 9 to 5 job provides at least some social interaction.

The original,
Rich Ring
