I have a friend interested in scanning material for later reading
using a synthesizer. I told him about Arkenstone but he has
learned that the HP scanner is already bundled with a product
called Wordscan. His question is why he would want the
Arkenstone package if he can do much the same thing with
Wordscan.
Does anyone know how the Colara system improves upon what is
offered in the Wordscan program? My friend will have sighted
assistance and will not be operating the scanner himself.
My Arkenstone came yesterday and looks very very promising.
